A year and a half in the making but well worth the effort. More than 150 shoes create a cradle to hold the cottonwood stump and glass top. This piece is a true conversation piece as well as a functional piece of furniture. One of my most difficult pieces built so far.
Dimensions The final dimensions of the piece are 82 inches long by 44 inches wide and 21 ½ inches tall. The table comes apart in three pieces so that two average size people are able to move the piece with ease. The wood has been fitted so that the shoes will set in a very specific placement for stability.
