2016 Year End Review

2016 Year End Review

This past year was extremely busy as we did shows in Tubac, Arizona, Telluride and Ridgway, Colorado, Pinedale, Wyoming, and Las Vegas, Nevada. We enjoyed all our trips and were successful at each festival. While in Ridgway, we received the award for best display among the 140 artists. Each venue offered opportunities to create custom pieces for the local residents. This is always cherished as these items are truly unique. I continue to sell my work at Sorrel River Ranch outside of Moab, Utah, Gateway Canyon Resorts in Gateway, Colorado. Maria that ran Silver Linings in Ouray, Colorado has closed up shop and retired, so I am no longer in Ouray. I have added Dos Corazones in Tubac, Arizona as a retail outlet. For the upcoming year, we have booked ourselves to return to Tubac, Pinedale, and Ridgway. I have also accepted an invitation to attend the Elko Cowboy Poetry Gathering in February of 2017. Only 12 to 13 artists are invited to attend each year. I am excited to be a part of Gathering. I am also busy working on several custom pieces that I will be sharing on my website and Facebook page. My farrier work keeps me extremely busy but how else will I get my material to create all these pieces. I will also be offering my hoof care and anatomy classes at Western Colorado Community College in March and April. For a list of classes and to sign up visit wccc.coloradomesa.edu/cec. I look forward to anther busy and eventful year; please continue to check in for new items and updates. I already have more...
